Description Technical Specs Extended Information   Made and designed by in Sweden, these dishcloths are woven from cotton and bamboo-viscose fiber.  The bamboo-viscose inherently eliminates bacterial growth, which in turn eliminates and bad smells from the dishcloth. Further, the dishcloth is designed to allow full bacterial elimination by microwaving a dripping wet rag at full power for about 4 minutes. This dishcloth is hygienic, functional, easy to care for, economic, appealing, and eco-certified. It offers back to basic and an end to the throwaway society. Soft and absorbent making it ideal to use for all kinds of cleaning. To wring it dry does however require a bit more effort than the old throwaway rag made from scrap textiles. Using the Ekelund dish cloth leave an almost dry surface which will be totally dry within a minute. Please note that the absorption ability is much improved after the first wash. SIZE 30x25 cm (10” x 12”) which is the size obtained after the first wash. The size before washing is 35x29 cm (11” x 13 ½” ). The size has been made to feel good in ones hand.   Features Eco-Certified Woven designs, not printed! Made with 50% cotton and 50% bamboo-viscose - both echo friendly raw materials. Beneficial properties of bamboo-viscose: Wear property: bamboo viscose has less wear property than cotton Absorption: bamboo viscose is 3 – 4 times better than cotton Color durability: good, uses less coloring than cotton Static Electricity: bamboo viscose approximately 12 times less than cotton Bacterial properties: bamboo viscose contain a property called “bamboo kun” which reduces bad smell and also kills 75% of bacteria within 24 hours. Skin sensitivity: good as the fibers are very smooth for bamboo viscose – less sensitivity to allergies Look: shiny - almost as silk Comfort: bamboo viscose feels cool, 1 to 2 times cooler than other textiles. The high absorption rate and rapid drying aids in this feeling of coldness.
